Toyota or Honda?

These two car brands are very popular around the world. Both of these companies are known for their reliability, safety, cost-effective vehicles for many years and these two companies are still very popular today even with all of the competition out there.

Below you will be able to find the key features and differences of the two.

Performance

When we look at performance between the two companies, Honda does have higher performance ratings as most of their vehicles have higher horsepower than Toyota vehicles. For example, when looking at the civic and corolla, the civic provides more horsepower.

Hondas engine is a little bit sportier than Toyotas, however, Toyotas engine are built more for reliability.

Safety And Cost

Both of these brands offer the highest safety features available. Honda outperforms Toyota by a very small percentage in safety. Most newer Hondas come with standard safety features such as lane assist, collision mitigation, backup camera.

When looking at the cost of both brands, they are mostly tied but Toyota does provide some cost-effective vehicles with basic features.

Reliability

Toyota is known for its reliability. The company invests a lot of money into research and development, more than most companies. Toyotas are generally more reliable than Honda’s. Whether it be a Honda or a Toyota, you won’t go wrong with purchasing any of these vehicles.
